INNOVATIVE BATTERY COMPONENTS
Natrion technology vs Current EV
Solid-state and Li-metal batteries are considered the “Holy Grail” in energy storage innovation. We are making these technologies a reality through scalable processes and components that can be adopted by any Li-ion battery manufacturer today.
Many R&D teams have tried to create new batteries from scratch. Natrion took a different approach: innovating at the cell component level to develop new processes and materials that improve the safety and performance of cells without compromising their manufacturability.
We consulted and worked closely with original equipment manufacturers from the outset to ensure that our solutions are highly compatible with the exact machinery and techniques used today. All of our products can drop into existing battery cells as one-to-one replacements.
Natrion’s proprietary components lead the industry in performance with their ability to withstand high thermal and abuse stress while delivering high longevity and energy density. Most importantly – these superior results are always demonstrated in end use-relevant environments — not a lab with special conditions.
We developed our materials to achieve cost parity with existing non-SSB materials, so the transition to solid-state doesn’t need to be an economic barrier. And because it works with existing processes and equipment, manufacturers don’t need to invest in new upgrades to use Natrion components.
